On September 23, 2017 Luther Scott Floyd (53) of County Road 8301 Booneville was charged with Molesting (Touching a Child for Lustful Purpose) and Unlawful Possession of Explosives. 

Judge Richard Tollison set Bond at $75,000.00. Case is still under investigation and will be presented to a Prentiss County Grand Jury. 

Investigator Torie Jumper did an outstanding job with this case going above and beyond.  She will continue investigating, analyzing and processing electronic, digital and other evidence seized during the search of Floyd's residence. It is possible that additional charges follow.
