On Tuesday Oct. 8th Deputy Sheriff Aaron Stolz made a traffic stop, for improper equipment, near the intersection of HWY 30 and CR 5031. Deputy Stolz determined that the driver had an outstanding warrant from the City of Booneville and placed the Driver under arrest. After placing the driver in custody, Deputy Stolz found that the Driver, Lisa Michell Mackin 46 of Booneville was in possession of a Controlled Substance, Methamphetamine. Mackin was charged with Felony Possession of Controlled Substance,( Meth ) and Improper Equipment, as well as the Booneville warrant. Her bond was set at $10.500 on the County charges. Narcotics Investigator Grady Smith and North Mississippi Narcotics will be handling the case. The case will be presented to a future Prentiss County Grand Jury. A hold was placed on her for the City of Booneville.
