Today, it was an honor to recognize this amazing young man that serves Prentiss County as a Deputy Sheriff for his role in saving another persons life. Last week while on patrol Deputy Dallas Lumpkin was on duty like any other shift and encountered a situation that required him to make life saving decisions. He stepped up, using his first aid and other training along with a tourniquet provided by North Ms Trauma Systems Inc. Upon recommendation of Investigators Wesley Graves, Torie Jumper and Grady Smith, Lumpkin was presented a framed letter of commendation, acknowledging his actions
