On Monday May 19th Prentiss County Deputies Arrested John D Coleman 30 of CR 3130 Booneville and charged him with Grand Larceny after he was caught by the property owner stealing scrap metal.  His bond was set at $2,500 on the felony bond and he had several misdemeanor issues that he had to bond on.  He is free on bond.  We continue to have a serious problem with scrap metal theft and ask that the public be exact aware of suspicious activity and immediately report such activity to the Sheriff's Office, along with a good description of vehicles involved and occupants, if possibly and a direction of travel
