Monday Aug 4th Dollar General Store in Marietta reported a shop lifting incident that had just occurred.  Prentiss COunty Deputies and Marietta Police responded.  Marietta Police stopped the car that was occupied by two individuals including the shoplifting suspect, Justin Moody 24 of Mantachie.  He was arrested and charged with shoplifting and other traffic violations.  The female was released.  Officers impounded the vehicle and later evxecuted a search warrant, discovering hundreds of items in the truck that are believed to be shoplifted items.  Documents in the vehicle revealed that the pair were a part of a very methodical and organized ring that was operating in an area ranging from Fulton-Pontotoc and Booneville- West Point.  Both individuals were under MDOC supervision at the time of the incident.  This is another example of the cooperative efforts of area Law Enforcement.
