On Weds night, Oct. 8th Prentiss County Authorities arrested Eric Shane Bond 32 of Belmont after Officers attempted to stop him and he failed to stop.  He led Officers to a residence just off CR 5481 where he had earlier been involved in a disturbance.  Officers discovered three loaded firearms in the vehicle after he was taken into custody.  Bond is a prior convicted felon and was charged with Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon along with DUI Refused Test, Suspended Drivers License, Failure to Stop  and Careless Driving.  His bond on the Misdemeanor charges was set at  $2,500 and he awaits an initial appearance to set bond on the Felony charge.  He was currently under supervision of MDOC and a hold has been placed on him for Probation Violations.
