On Friday Nov. 14th Prentiss County Investigators Roy Ragin and Grady Smith Graduated CIC (Criminal Investigators Certification Course). The Course was held at the Belden Campus of IJC in Tupelo. Investigators had to complete 280 hours of rigorous training that included all aspects of Criminal Investigations. This course Certifies the Investigators in Investigations and prepares them to be proficient in conducting criminal investigations ranging from the most minor to the most serious crimes. The course of study is spread out over 7-8 month period of time so as not to take the Investigators away from their work for an extended period of time. Mitchell and Davis completed the same training along with Ragin and Smith.
