Shanquenetta Yvette Channelle, 28, of Booneville was arrested Friday 02-20-2015 by Booneville Police on a shoplifting charge. Channelle was brought to the Prentiss County Jail for processing. Prentiss County Sheriff's Department jail staff searched Channelle and found her to be concealing cocaine in clothing. Channelle was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance in a correctional facility by Prentiss County Sheriff's Department investigtators. Channelle's bond was set at $5,000 by Justice Court Judge Angela Pounds. Channelle made bond and now awaiting action of the Prentiss County Grand Jury.
