Prentiss County Investigators Investigating the burglary of a cabin on CR 3501 that occurred in late December or early January and reported on 01/06/2015 have followed leads that have led to the arrest of Derrick Ray Humpreys 28 of New Site. The report rellected that suspects burglarized the cabin and stole furniture and appliances and TV's from the cabin. Humpreys has been charged with Burglary of an Occupied Dwelling. This is the second similiar incident that Humphreys has been connected to in recent months. Bond has not been set at this time. Humpreys bond has been set at $25,000 and a hold has been placed on him by MDOC.
