On Thursday August 27th Prentiss County Deputies and Emergency Responders, responded to a 911 call concerning a single vehicle accident on CR 1040 in front of Thrasher School. During the accident investigation Officers placed the driver under arrest for numerous traffic violations and as a result of the arrest they discovered him to be in possession of Methamphetamine in his boot. The Driver Brett Allen Christian 34 of Thrasher was charged with Felony Possession of Controlled Substance (ICE aka Crystal Methamphetamine), numerous Traffic Violations. When questioned about the wreck he stated he was distracted by his telephone and ran off the road stricking the Brick School Sign. He is awaiting an initial appearance before the Judge for bond to be set. The wreck was reported at 1PM and School was still in session
