On Weds morning 09/23 Prentiss County Deputy Sheriff Torie Jumper and Sheriff Randy Tolar spoke to the Wheeler Headstart Students about safety issues such as bicycle, ATV, Fire and Seatbelt Safety and explained to them that we as Law Enforcement Officers are their Friends and here to help them. We provided informational and instructional coloring books to help them understand about safety. Our Children are our future and it is important for them to look at Law Enforcement Officers in a Positive light and respect them. We had a great time at Wheeler Headstart. This is just another service that the Prentiss County Sheriff's Office provides to promote Community Service and Safety Awareness.
