On Friday afternoon 4/1/2016 around 5pm we recieved a 911 call concerning a shooting that had taken place at or near the intersection of Old HWY 30 and HWY 364. The caller witnessed the incident and gave a description of the suspect vehicle. Shortly thereafter the victim of the shooting reported to the Sheriff's office, what had taken place and identified the shooter as well as more details about the incident. Charges were filed against Billy Clay Harling 41 of Booneville. Harling was charged with Aggravated Assualt accused of firing two shots at the victims vehicle. Harling was arrested around 7PM later that evening. His bond was set at $10,000 and was released Sunday afternoon on Bond.
