On Weds May 18th we received the report from a HWY 145 N Resident that she arrived home and heard a noise in her house, she went to investigate and discovered a white male, later identified as Chris Blassingame 23 of Booneville, in her house going through her belongings. The resident screamed and the individual fled the house. Upon arrival, Officers from the Prentiss County Sheriff's Office, Booneville Police Department, MDOC searched the area and located Blassingame who has been on the run from Law Enforcement for several weeks, while being wanted by Booneville Police. Blassingame is being charged with Burglary of an Inhabited Dwelling. He remains in custody at this time, bond has not been set. He also faces numerous charges in Booneville.
