The Prentiss County Sheriff's Office and Booneville Police are working together to solve a recent rash of Church Burglaries that have occurred beginning with the Reports on May 16th of both Wolfe Creek M B Church and Christ United Methodist Church (Blackland Community), items reported taken in these two burglaries included Flat Panel TV's, Cash, Portable DVD Player and a ViewSonic Projector, a Yamaha Keyboard, Desktop Computer and Monitor and 3 Shure Microphones
These above mentioned Burglaries were believed to have occurred the night before or earlier the day of the report.
On June 4th Gaston Baptist Church (North Booneville) was reported Burglarized with two Computer reported taken 1- HP and 1-Dell
On June 5th Thrasher Baptist (Thrasher Community) Approx $240 Cash was reported taken.
On June 15th Martin Hill Free Will Baptist (East of Boonevile/Martin Hill Community) reports states that a Safe was taken and a small money box with approx.$300 cash was taken.
Finally on June 17th Tuscumbia Baptist Church, A small safe was reported taken that contained only documents
Investigators are asking for the public's help in catching these Burglars.
