Prentiss County Deputies have arrested the below named individual after a pursuit that happened in the early morning hours of June 28th. The Individual was charged with a mulittude of misdemeanor charges related to the attempted traffic stop and pursuit as well as contempt charges regarding previous charges that he had not met his obligations. Steven Brian Owens 36 of Booneville was arrested after failing to stop for Deputy Taylor Walker on the morning of June 28th. The pursuit ended when Owens ran into a ditch on West Chambers Drive in Booneville Owens was treated and released from Magnolia Hospital in Corinth and transport to Jail. He has a $6,500 bond on the misdemeanor related charges as well as DUI, $1,291 Cash bond on the Contempt and Felony Charges are being investigated and pending. He has also been charged with Felony Fleeing and bond will likely be set by the end of the day on this charge.
