On Friday August 12th Deputies Taylor Walker and Dennis Peeks arrested Carey Dodds 45 of CR 1050 Booneville after he was found to be in Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine). The Deputies were conducting a Roadside Safety Checkpoint at the intersection of CR 1030 and CR 1040 when they arrested Dodds for Suspended Drivers License and then discovered the Controlled Substance during a subsequent seach of his person and his vehicle. Dodds was charged with Possession of COntrolled Substance (Meth) and numerous Misdemeanor Violations. His bond was set at $5,000 on the drug charge and $2,500 on the other violations.
