On Monday night Nov 7th Prentiss County Deputy responded to a call on CR 7000 of a potential Burglary in Progress. Deputies Wesley Graves and Aaron Stolz arrived at the residence and noticed a ATV under the carport and the back door to the residence had apparently been kicked in. Deputies entered the house and discovered Julian "Onion" Daniel McGaughy hidden in the residence. McGaughy had several items from the house in his possession. McGaughy was taken into custody. Another individual jumped out a window and fled the scene. That individual was later identified as Ashanti Sampson and was arrested. Both McGaughy 40 of Booneville and Sampson 32 of Baldwyn were charged with Burglary and their bonds were set at $10,000 each. Sampson was under supervision of the Ms Deparment of Corrections and a hold has been placed on him.  Baldwyn Police assisted in this case.
