These pictures are of our presentation to Deputy Sheriff Homer Stevens a plaque honoring him for his service to Prentiss County and the Prentiss County Sheriff's Office. Homer Stevens is the only Full Time Deputy that is still with the Department that started when I took office in Jan of 2000. He has served faithfully for 16 years under this administration. Homer is retiring the first of the year. He started his Law Enforcement career in 1992 when Sheriff Farrell brumley took office. He served during that four year term then went to work full time at Burnsville PD until I hired him as a Deputy. I can't say enough good things about Homer, he is just an all round good person and a great Deputy. The plaque was presented to Homer at our Christmas Dinner Tuesday Night December 20th. Homer also works part time at Marietta as a Policeman.
