On Sunday June 18th around 1am Prentiss County Deputies Taylor Walker and Tyler Reese along with the Mississippi Highway Patrol were conducting a Safety Checkpoint at the intersection of Hwy 30 and 145 and arrested Sonya Anne Lowry 38 of Booneville.  Lowry was charged with Possession of Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine) along with several misdemeanor charges.  She is awaiting an initial appearance before the judge to set bond
