Tamica Nichols 26 of Booneville and Demi Price 25 of Baldwyn were arrested Weds Night 07/19 at a roadside safety checkpoint near Frankstown on HWY 145.  Deputy Taylor Walker was assisting the Mississippi Highway Safety Patrol at the checkpoint.  Officers discovered that the women had both Cocaine and Pharmaceuticals in their possession.  The pair were charged with Felony Possession of Controlled Substance and their bonds were set at $5,000 each.  Additional misdemeanor charges were filed as well.  "We cherish the excellent working relationship we have with the Mississippi Highway Patrol and this is evidence of that cooperative spirit."  Narcotics Investigator Joey Clark is handling the case.
