On October 26th, 2017 the Prentiss County Sheriff’s Department conducted a search warrant at the residence of Nathan Wesley Vuncannon (28) of Highway 4 West Jumpertown. Nathan Vuncannon was the active Fire Chief for Jumpertown Fire Department. He has been accused of Embezzling from the Jumpertown Fire Department.  The alleged crimes occurred between April 2017-Oct. 2017.  As a result of the search warrant several items were seized. Nathan Vuncannon was charged with Embezzlement. Judge Richard Tollison set a Professional Bond Only at $120,000.00. The case is still under investigation and will be presented to the next Prentiss County Grand Jury.   Investigators Wesley Graves and Torie Jumper are working the case.
