On Thursday March 1, Deputy Taylor Walker received information that two wanted individuals were staying at a house on HWY 364 just West of the Tishomingo County Line near New Lebanon Church. Investigators Grady Smith, Torie Jumper, Wesley Graves along with Chief Deputy Derrick Pruitt and Deputies Taylor Walker and Gunter Brumley went to the residence and found Tessie Starnes and eventually located Thomas Crosby Jr 41 Tishomingo who fled to the attic and was hiding. Deputy Gunter Brumley located Crosby during a search of the attic. He was arrested without incident. Starnes was transported by Tishomingo County Deputies to Tishomingo for outstanding warrants. Crosby had an outstanding Bench Warrant in Prentiss County and an Alias Capias in Tishomingo. He was also charged with resisting arrest for attempting to hide in the attic as Officers searched for him. Crosby remains in custody of the Prentiss County Jail with a hold for MDOC.
