On Thursday March 22nd, 2018 the Prentiss County Sheriff's Department arrested James Baxter Barron (28) of County Road 5131 Booneville for Abuse on a Vulnerable Person. Barron is accused of assaulting a 63 year old disabled female in her own residence.
Upon entering the Prentiss Couny Jail James Baxter Barron  was found with a Controlled Substance and also charged with Possession of Controlled Substance within a Correctional Facility. Judge Richard Tollison set bond at $10,000. The case will be presented to the next grand jury.
