June Felony Drug Arrest
Prentiss County Deputies have been busy with several traffic related felony Drug Arrests
 
On Sunday June 3rd, Prentiss County Deputy Sheriff Gunter Brumley responded to a motor vehicle accident and arrested Rhonda Lamberth 51 of Ramer Tn.  She was charged with DUI and misdemeanor Possession of Controlled Substance.  Once she was taken to the Prentiss County Jail, it was discovered that she was in possession of additional controlled substance which led to her being charged with the felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance within a Correctional Facility.  Her bond was set at $3,000 on the Felony and $2,000 on the Misdemeanors.
 
On Friday June 1st, Dustin Lee Hutcheson, 32 of Wheeler was arrested after Deputy Taylor Walker stopped him on CR 2231.  Hutcheson was charged with Possession of Beer, Possession of Whiskey, Possession of Paraphernalia and Felony Possession of Controlled Substance (Meth) enhanced while in Possession of a Firearm.  He remains in jail on a Probation Violation.  His bond on the charges was $5,000 on the Felony and $2,000 on the Misdemeanors.
 
On Weds June 6th Kevin Fugitt, 41 Booneville was arrested and charged with Felony Possession of Marijuana.  The arrest stemmed from a previous traffic stop.  His bond was set at $5,000.  Deputy Gunter Brumley made the initial arrest. 
 
 
On Friday June 1 Deputy Tyler Reese responded to the report of a vehicle sitting in the road on CR 2040 with the occupant being unresponsive.  When Deputy Reese arrived on scene he found William Lenard Hare, 43 of Booneville behind the wheel passed out.  Hare was charged with DUI, No Seatbelt, Driving while License Suspended and Felony Possession of Controlled Substance (Meth).  His bond was set at $5,000 on the Felony and $2,000 on the Misdemeanors.
 
The felony drug charges will be presented to the next Grand Jury by Narcotics Investigator Grady Smith.
