On Friday May 25th, the Prentiss County TRIAD hosted our 12th annual Senior Citizen Appreciation Day @ the Booneville First United Methodist Church Multi Purpose Building from 10am-2pm.  We had between 250-300 in attendance and had a great time.  There was plenty of food, fun and entertainment for everyone.  Every Senior Citizen was given a Door Prize, (Fire Exstinguishers, Weather Radios, Flashlights and numerous other items,) that was either donated or provided thru a grant by our TRIAD.  Kay Bain, JC Newby and Group along with Tonya Finch's children and Husband did a great job with the entertainment.  This is a day that we show our Senior Citizens our appreciation and provide them with a day filled with fellowship.  The members of our local SALT(Senior and Law Enforcement Together) Council did an outstanding job in preparing and hosting the event.
