On Monday August 13th Prentiss County Deputies and Investigators arrested Dalton Wayne (Andy) Franks 26 of 256 CR 4141 New Site and Charged him with Grand Larceny and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon.  His bond has been set at $10,000, but the Mississippi Department of Corrections has placed a hold on him for violations of the conditions of his supervision.  The theft occurred several months ago from a residence in the Jumpertown area.  Investigators have been working on this case since the theft occurred and finally built a strong enough case to file charges.  The pistol has not been recovered at this time.  The Investigators are to be commended for their diligence in this case.
