Thursday Oct 31, marked the end of seven weeks of intense training for criminal investigators across North Ms. The training is a state certification course that began several years ago to uniformly train criminal investigators and ultimately earn a professional certification. The Prentiss County Sheriff's Office had two Investigators attend the seven week long course that spans over a seven month period. The training gives them the tools to more thoroughly do their jobs. Investigator Derrick Hester and Brian Taylor were the Sheriff's Office Graduates. We are already making arrangements for two other Investigators to attend the next training seesion. "I am very proud of their accomplishments and am confident their training will aid them in the cases they Investigate." The two others in the photo were Booneville Detectives Jerry Bridges and Corie Gann Robbins.
